Femm allows you to solve magnetic, electrostatic, heat flow, and current flow problems on two-dimensional planar and axis symmetric domains. It utilizes finite element analysis for the solution of problems. The problems are analyzed in a preprocessor stage where must be drawn the problem geometry, must be defined the materials and boundary conditions. The postprocessor is used to view solutions.
